Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This policy explains how the Pixelator Android app (package net.inettools.pixelator, Russian name «Пикселезатор») handles data when pixelating images.
The app is published by InetTools. For privacy questions, contact us at support@inettools.net.
The app lets users choose an image on the device, set the pixel block size, preview the result, and save or share the processed image through the standard Android share menu.
The user chooses an image through the system file picker. The app processes the selected image content, file name, image dimensions, and selected pixelation settings only to create the result.
The app does not require a name, phone number, address, email, account, payment data, or other contact information.
Pixelation is performed locally on the device inside the embedded WebView using HTML canvas. Selected images are not uploaded to InetTools servers for processing, previewing, or saving.
The generated image is created in the app's temporary cache and passed to the Android share menu when the user taps the save button. Temporary cache can be removed through Android system settings or by uninstalling the app.
The core pixelation feature does not use a backend API. The INTERNET permission is used to safely open external links to Google Play, RuStore, and this privacy policy page, and to send technical AppMetrica analytics and Sentry error reports.
Selected images, generated files, canvas contents, and pixelation settings are not sent to InetTools, AppMetrica, or Sentry servers.
The app uses separate AppMetrica and Sentry projects for package net.inettools.pixelator. AppMetrica may receive technical app events such as app launch, session, app version, device and operating system details, diagnostic events, and crash information. Sentry may receive error reports, crash reports, diagnostic breadcrumbs, and technical details needed to fix issues.
The app does not send name, email, phone number, contacts, payment data, selected images, processed output, or precise location to AppMetrica or Sentry. AppMetrica is configured without location tracking, and the Android build excludes the AppMetrica advertising identifiers module. The app does not use advertising SDKs and we do not sell users' personal data.
The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, calendar, location, payment data, or permanent access to all device files. Access to an image is granted by the user through the system file picker only for the selected file.
InetTools does not receive or share selected images with third parties. Technical analytics and diagnostics data may be shared with AppMetrica/Yandex and Sentry. If the user sends the result through the Android share menu, further handling depends on the selected app or service.
Users can delete temporary files and settings through Android system settings or by uninstalling the app. Because images are not uploaded to InetTools servers, no separate deletion of server copies is required.
The app is not specifically intended for children and does not provide registration, user content publishing, in-app purchases, or communication between users.
We may update this policy when the app, analytics, diagnostics, network features, or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
